A new look for a 1950’s house in University Park. The owner decided that the house needed a change. The small existing entry is understated and difficult to maneuver due to the size of the stoop and the swing of the storm door. A proper formal entrance has been introduced along with a multi-functional screened porch. The existing dining room is opened up to the screened porch by a fully glazed sliding door and side panel. The kitchen has been reorganized to create a more usable layout and finishes have been upgraded to bring back a sense of modernism to the outdated existing kitchen. The screened porch boasts a beautiful porcelain tile floor and reclaimed historic tin ceiling panels.
